The ZFDS team offered a wide range of services, including doctor consultations, laboratory tests, dental care, eye screening, and the distribution of free reading glasses—all at no cost to the community and those that attended the traditional ceremony.
ZFDS was an important presence at the ceremony, which was also attended by the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Hon. Gift Sialubalo, who represented the Republican President, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema.
The Copperbelt Minister,Hon.Elisha Matambo was also in attendance at the traditional ceremony with a number of traditional leaders showing the collective unity in our Country.
The event attracted people from across the Copperbelt and beyond. Traditional ceremonies are gatherings that unite communities, giving us the perfect platform to deliver essential health services and raise awareness on public health matters.
This effort directly aligns with our mandate to provide equitable and accessible healthcare to people in remote parts of the country who may not otherwise reach a hospital or clinic.
