Today the 29th of April,2025 ,A delegation from Children International Zambia (CIZ) paid a visit to the ZFDS HQ signaling a potential partnership to improve healthcare access to communities in remote and hard to reach areas in Zambia.

The Children International Zambia Delegation was lead by Mr. Vincent Simangolwa -Donations Program Manager who was accompanied by Mr. Mwenda Chilapukila and Mr. Shammah Kasemah. The ZFDS team lead by the Chief Executive Officer,Dr George Ng’uni received the team.

A tour of the James Lawless facility in Northrise was also done and appreciation of the steps taken by the Service to ensure internally generated income is acquired for more enhanced outreaches in the rural and hard to reach areas of our Country.

The potential partnership promises to significantly enhance ZFDS's ability to serve and provide primary and specialized healthcare services to more remote and hard to reach communities and the expected outcomes include strengthened partnerships, enhanced coordination, and the development of action plans that expand the reach and effectiveness of healthcare delivery though CIZ product donations across Zambia.
