Her Royal Highness (HRH) Chieftainess Sinazongwe has called on the Zambia Flying Doctor Service (ZFDS) to extend its medical services within her chiefdom, citing the critical need for specialized healthcare in remote areas.

The Chieftainess made the appeal when a joint team from the ZFDS and the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) paid her a courtesy call.

She expressed gratitude for the Government's provision of health services through the two organizations, stating that the outreach has already helped many of her people.

The traditional leader highlighted the lack of specialists in most remote parts of her chiefdom.

She noted a high prevalence of eye problems among her people, which she attributed to fishing activities common in the district.

The ZFDS and ZAF team is currently providing free medical services in various parts of Sinazongwe and Maamba districts.
