The Zambia Flying Doctor Service (ZFDS) did today the 18th of April,2025 successfully carry out two (2) air medical evacuations in partnership with the Workers’ Compensation Fund Control Board.

The two patients were evacuated from Ndola to Mansa and Mansa to Lusaka respectively.

The patients conditions are stable and have been handed over to health care personnel from Mansa General Hospital and Fairview hospital respectively.

We commend our dedicated flight and medical crew for their swift, safe execution of this mission. We also thank the Workers’ Compensation Fund Control Board and the respective hospitals for their continued support and collaboration in a bid to ensure efficient and effective health care for all.
